CHICAGO ANCESTORS

ChicagoAncestors.org is a free database manned by librarians at the Newberry Library.  There is an interactive map with lots of hints that can help you do research on anyone who has lived or worked in Chicago.  There are also lots of helpful links that can also help with your genealogy research.  Helps like street name changes, the numbering changes in especially 1909, some city directories and other census helps.  You can also make suggestions on things that might be helpful to others doing Chicago research.
