Findmypast
originally was known as 1837online and published birth, marriage and death
records from the General Register Office. In 2003 their product was put
on line and gradually censuses, immigration, work, school, military, newspapers
and other records were added. Their collections include records for the
United Kingdom, United States, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada, and
some other locations.
Sandra Trapp has been doing research
for 18 years on her family, her husband’s, son-in-law’s, and friends’
families. She is the Resource Chairman for the Naperville Family History
Center and has given genealogy presentations for various local organizations
and libraries.
